For Members of Universities in the Areas Affected by the Kumamoto Earthquake

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the Kumamoto Earthquake.

Students, faculty members, and staff of universities in the earthquake- affected areas are welcome to use the facilities and library materials of the Kanazawa University Library when they return home or evacuate.
Please present an identification card or similar document issued by your affiliated institution upon arrival. We will accommodate you flexibly if you do not have one.

■ Examples of Available Services

- Viewing materials in the library
- Borrowing up to 10 books (loan periods depend on each library/room rules)
- Accessing electronic journals and academic databases from library PCs for internal use
- Using rooms that require reservations, such as group studios

Also, even if you’re not affiliated with a university or anything like that, you can still use it as a general user.
