\/>\n<p>\u25cf The subscription contract for <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/\">the electronic journal package (Springer Compact)<\/a> offered by Springer-Nature in 2024 has been changed to a &#8220;conversion contract&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfThe University will pay a portion of the APC for papers accepted for publication in Springer journals after January when they are converted to Open Access (OA).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfThe responsible author is not required to pay the full APC to the publisher, but is required to pay an additional 100,000 yen (budget transfer to the affiliated libraries).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfThe University will bear the APC within the amount received from the responsible author even if the number of applications received exceeds the initial number of contracts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfRequirements for support<br \/>\n\u30fbOver 2,000 Springer-branded open-choice journals, not including full OA
