{"id":44494,"date":"2023-12-19T15:38:37","date_gmt":"2023-12-19T06:38:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/library.kanazawa-u.ac.jp\/?p=44494"},"modified":"2023-12-19T15:38:37","modified_gmt":"2023-12-19T06:38:37","slug":"springer%e3%82%b8%e3%83%a3%e3%83%bc%e3%83%8a%e3%83%ab%e3%81%aeoa%e5%8c%96%e3%82%92%e6%94%af%e6%8f%b4%e3%81%97%e3%81%be%e3%81%99%ef%bc%8fsupport-for-oa-of-springer-journals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/library.kanazawa-u.ac.jp\/?p=44494&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Support for OA of Springer journals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u25cf The subscription contract for <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/\">the electronic journal package (Springer Compact)<\/a> offered by Springer-Nature in 2024 has been changed to a &#8220;conversion contract&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfThe University will pay a portion of the APC for papers accepted for publication in Springer journals after January when they are converted to Open Access (OA).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfThe responsible author is not required to pay the full APC to the publisher, but is required to pay an additional 100,000 yen (budget transfer to the affiliated libraries).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfThe University will bear the APC within the amount received from the responsible author even if the number of applications received exceeds the initial number of contracts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfRequirements for support<br \/>\n\u30fbOver 2,000 Springer-branded open-choice journals, not including full OA journals. \u2192<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/e\/2PACX-1vTvhT4vXAFZ41gfwKNHmDWo2VsXWQIgSd9jQc7rVOFw1IgY7RxAi2q-AcZSapnCQCYJntc9YldosBD1\/pubhtml#\">List of journals<\/a><br \/>\n\u30fbThe period from January to December 2024 *First-come-first-served basis of acceptance.<br \/>\n\u30fbThe authors&#8217; affiliation must be judged as belonging to the University based on the author&#8217;s affiliation and e-mail address on the paper.
