{"id":45753,"date":"2024-03-21T19:20:09","date_gmt":"2024-03-21T10:20:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/library.kanazawa-u.ac.jp\/?p=45753"},"modified":"2024-03-21T19:20:09","modified_gmt":"2024-03-21T10:20:09","slug":"support-for-oa-of-elsevier-journals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/library.kanazawa-u.ac.jp\/?p=45753&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Support for OA of Elsevier journals"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"container\" class=\"clfix\">\n<div id=\"content\" class=\"guide_article\">\n<div id=\"contentInner\" class=\"article\">\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u25cf The subscription contract for the electronic journal package (Science Direct) offered by Elsevier in FY2024 has been changed to a &#8220;conversion contract&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfThe University will pay a portion of the APC for papers accepted for publication in Elsevier journals after April when they are converted to Open Access (OA).<\/p>\n<p>\u3000The responsible author is not required to pay the full APC to the publisher, but is required to pay an additional 100,000 yen (budget transfer to the affiliated libraries).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfRequirements for support<br \/>\n\u30fb<span style=\"color: #000000;\">1<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">,680 Elsevier<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>branded Core Hybrid journals, not including full OA journals.<br \/>\n\u30fbThe period from April 2024 to March 2025 *First-come-first-served basis of acceptance.<br \/>\n\u30fbThe authors&#8217; affiliation must be judged as belonging to the University based on the author&#8217;s affiliation and e-mail address on the paper.
