The National University Bibliobattle 2025 Finals will be held on Sunday, November 23, as part of the Nagasaki Peace & Culture Festival 2025 at Arkas SASEBO in Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We are now recruiting participants (battlers) to take part in the Block Preliminary Round at Kanazawa University in hopes of advancing to the national finals.<\/p>\n

\u3010\uff18\/8 We have reached the maximum number of applicants, so the application is now closed.\u3011<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\u3010Block Preliminary Round Details\u3011<\/strong>
\n\u3000October 10, 4:30 PM \u2013 5:10 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\u3010Presenters\u3011Up to 4 participants<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u3000\uff11\uff0eStudents from universities and graduate schools in the Hokuriku region (including students of technical colleges and vocational schools of university-equivalent age) are eligible to participate.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u3000\uff12\uff0eApplications must be submitted by Wednesday, October 8.<\/p>\n

\u3000\uff13\uff0eThe winner of the preliminary round (Champ Book Winner) will receive a special prize. All other battlers will receive participation prizes.<\/p>\n

— The Champ Book Winner of this preliminary round will advance to the Block Final, which will be held on Saturday, October 18 at Dandan Hiroba, Ishikawa Prefectural Library. The winner of the Block Final will represent the Hokuriku A Block at the National Finals in Sasebo on November 23.–\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u3010What is Bibliobattle?\u3011<\/p>\n

Bibliobattle is a book presentation game built around the concept: \u201dDiscover books through people, and people through books\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u3010Bibliobattle Rules\u3011<\/span><\/strong>
\n\uff11\uff0eEach participant brings a book they\u2019ve read and found interesting.<\/p>\n

\uff12\uff0eParticipants introduce their books in 5-minute presentations (talk only \u2014 no handouts or slides).<\/p>\n

\uff13\uff0eAfter each presentation, a 2\u20133 minute group discussion follows.<\/p>\n

\uff14\uff0eOnce all presentations are finished, everyone votes on \u201cWhich book do you most want to read?\u201d<\/p>\n

The book that receives the most votes is named the Champ Book.<\/span><\/p>\n
