Kanazawa University Library<\/strong> will host a symposium and a related exhibition on the acclaimed author Mishima Yukio<\/strong> as detailed below. We encourage you to attend.<\/p>\n

\u25a0Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The year 2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mishima Yukio<\/strong>, one of the representative writers of 20th-century Japanese literature. In this symposium, we will welcome leading researchers in Mishima’s literary studies to re-examine the author and his works from a multifaceted perspective, including his connection to Kanazawa, and discuss the future of Mishima’s literature.<\/p>\n
