★Kanazawa University Library is home to the Hokuriku region's only EU Information Centre (EUi), which serves as a base for deepening understanding of the European Union (EU).Every year from around Europe Day on May 9th (the anniversary of the EU's founding) through July, EUi at 18 universities across the country holds a series of intensive events called "Japan-EU Friendship Week" to help Japanese people learn more about the EU.
