How to access electronic resources from off-campus
*Please note that research collaborators, cooperating researchers, affiliated researchers, and visiting researchers are considered external users under the contract and therefore cannot access resources from off-campus.
1. Use the GakuNin service
The GakuNin service allows you to access electronic journals, databases, and other services just like on campus by logging in through Kanazawa University’s dedicated authentication link on each service.
2.Log in with your Kanazawa University ID through the dedicated authentication link.
Please note that a Kanazawa University ID is required to log in.
Not all electronic journals and databases support the GakuNin service.

A searchable database of statistical reports from each prefecture, covering Meiji to 1972. At this university, access is limited to Taisho, prewar Showa, and postwar Showa periods for the Chubu region. You can search by year, prefecture, keyword, and category to efficiently find data for humanities and social sciences research.
Newly added modules (as of 2024/03/14): Module 2 (Postwar Showa – Kanto), Module 21 (Meiji – Chubu).
