Outline of Lecture
Jean-Eric Paquet has been the Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to Japan since autumn 2022. With his vast experience of working in the European Commission, Ambassador Paquet will introduce the European Union, its history and how it works. The lecture will also focus on the European Union’s priorities on the global stage, working with like-minded partners such as Japan. You will be able to learn about the importance of the EU and Japan relationship and the impact that we are making in Japan, Europe, and the world.
