Akegarasu Collection(暁烏文庫) 49,124
Books previously owned by Akegarasu Haya, the former chief priest of Myotatsu Temple of the Ohtani sect of Jodo Shinsyu , located in Kitayasuda town, Hakusan city of Ishikawa prefecture.A huge collection of books in various fields of which 13,500 are on Buddhism. 
Atoji Colltction(阿閉文庫) 245
Books donated by Atoji Masataro, a stock farmer and former principle of Kanazawa Eiwa School . He is known for promoting Esperanto. 
Ida Collection(井田文庫) 111
Books donated by Ida Takeharu, a teacher , including the collection of scripts for “joruri” puppet plays between Kyoho 9 and Tenpo 8 (1724–1837). They were donated to us in December 1950.
Urai Collection(浦井文庫) 487 Books donated by Kojiro Urai, a former Fourth High School professor and his memorial foundation . Many of them are on European history.
Kaneto Collection(金戸文庫) 500 Collection on Japanese mathematics by Kaneto Sadataka, a former mathematics teacher of Ishikawa prefectural junior high school.
Kishi Collection(岸文庫) 1,001 Books donated by Kishi Shigeji, a former Fourth High School professor. The books are mainly on English and English literature. Other materials in his collection were donated to the Kanazawa City Library.
Komai Collection(駒井文庫) 5,492 Books donated by Komai Tokutaro, a former Fourth high school professor including many books published by Kaga Domain, regional materials, and Confucian texts.
Suzuki Collection(鈴木文庫) 5,075
Collection previously owned by Suzuki Naoharu, a former member of our faculty of liberal arts.They mainly include classical Chinese materials. 
Tsingtao Collection(青島文庫)

Books distributed to various high school institutions throughout Japan as well as the Fourth High School after the First World War. The books are from the German library known as the Koshu Library in Tsingtao that is located in a German leased territory. 
Hojo Collection(北条文庫) 1,713
Books donated by Hojo Tokiyuki, a former Fourth High School principle and former president of Gakushuin. The books mainly include manuscripts from the Edo period. Some of his collections were donated to Nippon Seinen-kan, the Japan Go Association, the Ishikawa Prefectural Library, etc. 
Yowado Collection(用和堂文庫) 919 Books donated by the Watanabe family, mentors on decorum for Kaga domain. These mainly include books on the rules of decorum and “yusokukojitu” (the study of classical ceremonial rules).These books were donated to the Fourth High School by Watanabe Atsuo.
Miyamoto Collection(宮本文庫) 7,562 Books donated by Miyamoto Kenichi, a former president of Shiga University and the Fourth High School graduate. This collection was established in September 2007. Of items that we have finished sorting, approximately 4,000 out of 8,000 items can be browsed through on fiscal science, environmental economics, regional economics, local administration, and pollution problems.
Yoshioka Collection(吉岡文庫) 409 A donation fund from Yoshioka Katsue (maiden name, Miyazaki), a graduate of Ishikawa Teacher’s School, the predecessor of our Education Department, made this collection “research on our local home land” possible, which focuses on municipality history and school history in Ishikawa prefecture.
Wada Collection(和田文庫) 1,647 Books donated by Wada Saburo, a former professor of our Law Department. These mainly include books on economic history and the letters of the law and economics

Byzantine Collection(ビザンツ研究資料コレクション) 758 Personal collection of a Philosophy professor of Athens University named Nicolas Oikonomides, known for authoritative works on Byzantine research, who died in July 2000. The collection has books on a wide variety of subjects including history of Byzantine Empire, its surrounding regions—Balkans, East Europe, Mediterranean coasts—and the Islamic world as well as archeology, art history, and medieval literature. Many of them are very important books written in various languages such as English, German, French, Italian, Russian, and Greek. Book List

Western Classical Literature Collection(西洋古典文学コレクション) 1534 Personal collections by former Kyoto University professor Oka Michio, former Kyoto Prefectural University professor Nakamura Zenya, and honorary professor of Kyoto University Matsudaira Chiaki. Reflecting profound knowledge of these scholars, their collections include very specialized materials such as original texts, commentaries, and studies on Greek and Latin literature.
