Registration with Kanazawa University Academic Information Repository (KURA)
Kanazawa University is committed to promoting open access to research results produced by its faculty members using public research funds, in line with the university’s Open Access Policy. These results are made publicly available through the Kanazawa University Academic Information Repository (KURA).
Beginning with the 2025 fiscal year, recipients of competitive research funding are required to make their published papers and supporting data immediately accessible via open access (OA) upon publication in academic journals.
To support this initiative, Kanazawa University has launched a new repository registration support system called PreKURA, which automatically collects and registers research results.
