A1-2. I do not belong to Kanazawa University, but can I access to the library? |
![]() You do not need to show a student ID or other ID to enter the library, but if you are not affiliated with Kanazawa University, please fill out an External User Reception Sheet when you enter. ■Please note that a library card is necessary to borrow materials. You can obtain a library card if you are an alumnus of the university, a former faculty member, a resident of one of the three Hokuriku prefectures, or if you work or study in the Ishikawa Prefecture. Registration and card issuance are performed at the service desk. You need to present proof of residence (such as a driver’s license). Library cards issued to members of the general public are valid for the current academic year. The same card will be used when renewing, so please bring it along with proof of residence. |

![]() Newspapers for the current and previous month are located in this room. Earlier newspapers are not preserved. You are encouraged to use reduced-size editions of earlier newspapers located in the Central Library. |

![]() Persons at the Kakuma campus: Materials can be copied or borrowed. Please inquire at the Central Library or the Natural Science and Technology Library for detailed information.

![]() If someone else has reserved the book or the material is classified as a journal, you cannot renew it. And also, you cannot renew overdue material. If this is the case, please return it promptly.

![]() Student Co-op copy cards are not sold at the library. Please purchase the prepaid cards at the Kanazawa University Co-op (Seiyo) service counter on the second floor of the Welfare Facility building. Please see building no. 26 on the Takara-machi Campus map (PDF). |
