● The subscription contract for the electronic journal package (Springer Compact) offered by Springer-Nature in 2024 has been changed to a "conversion contract".

 

●The University will pay a portion of the APC for papers accepted for publication in Springer journals after January when they are converted to Open Access (OA).

 

●The responsible author is not required to pay the full APC to the publisher, but is required to pay an additional 100,000 yen (budget transfer to the affiliated libraries).

 

●The University will bear the APC within the amount received from the responsible author even if the number of applications received exceeds the initial number of contracts.

 

●Requirements for support
・Over 2,000 Springer-branded open-choice journals, not including full OA journals. →List of journals
・The period from January to December 2024 *First-come-first-served basis of acceptance.
・The authors' affiliation must be judged as belonging to the University based on the author's affiliation and e-mail address on the paper. Graduate students with a budget are also eligible.
