“Kanazawa University Library Director General’s Award and Kanazawa University Library Certificate of Appreciation” awards ceremony was held.

During the lunch break on Friday, February 9th, the awards ceremony for the Kanazawa University Library Director General's Award and the Kanazawa University Library Certificate of Appreciation was held at " Shiko no Mori " on the second floor of the Central Library.

 

The University Library Director General's Award recognizes Kanazawa University students who have made outstanding contributions to library-related events, projects, research, etc. Satoshi Nogata, a 4th year student in the School of Teacher Education, College of Human and Social Sciences, who participated in the capital battle of the University Biblio Battle 2023 as a representative of the Hokuriku block, was awarded.

 

The University Library Certificate of Appreciation is awarded to individuals or organizations that have contributed to the promotion of library operations. This award was presented to 11 people who participated in this year's activities as members of the library volunteer group "Tobora".

 

At the ceremony, Kinya Sugiyama, Director General of the University Library, handed out awards and letters of appreciation.
