In February 2025, Kanazawa University joined the Japan Institutional Gateway (JIG), a peer-reviewed research publishing platform.

This allows researchers affiliated with our university, regardless of field, to submit papers to the "Japan Institutional Gateway" on the open science platform "F1000 Research."

After publication, papers are openly peer-reviewed on the website, and if they pass the peer review, they are included in secondary databases such as Scopus and PubMed.
Furthermore, papers in the humanities and social sciences can be submitted in Japanese as well as English.

 

・Those who want to disseminate their research results to the world in Japanese
・Those who write papers in emerging or interdisciplinary fields that cannot be contained in existing journals
・People who want to save as much APC as possible and publish their research results in open access
・Those who want to improve the quality of their papers through open peer review

Please consider submitting your research to "F1000 Research/JIG."

 

In addition, as part of support for the areas affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake in FY2024, an APC for one paper is being provided free of charge (on a first-come, first-served basis until the end of August).

If you are interested, please let us know the title of your paper (in English), the author's name, and the planned submission date before submitting your paper.
