When you use the library for the first time, please follow the procedure mentioned below:
■ Those with a staff ID card
The staff ID card can be used as a library card.
■ Those who do not have a staff ID card
Please present two of the items listed below to the service desk in the library, available until 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, and you will be issued a library card.
– A letter of appointment
– A Kanazawa University ID. This can be obtained at the Information Media Center.
(As this registration process is not available at the Health Science Library, please go to the Medical Library for inquiries.)
A Kanazawa University ID is required to login to the Library Online Service.

Part-time lecturers, visitors, research partners, etc. who do not have a staff ID issued by the university will need to follow this procedure.

- Purchases with research funds or grants-in-aid for scientific research
- Recommended reading for students and use in class
