留学生ラーニング・コンシェルジュ開始

LeCIS 2015Kanazawa University Library will launch Learning Concierge for International  Students (LeCIS) service for international students from October, 2015. LeCIS, the graduate students who can provide consultation and lecture in a language other than Japanese, facilitates the learning among students at the library.
附属図書館では，2015年10月から留学生ラーニング・コンシェルジュ(LeCIS)制度を開始します。LeCISは，附属図書館内で留学生の学修相談に，大学院所属の留学生及び日本人学生が，主に英語もしくは留学生の母語で対応する制度です。
■Main Contents 主な支援内容 
LeCIS staff at the library provides following learning support in a language other than Japanese.
附属図書館にLeCISを配置し，留学生を対象に次のような学修支援を行います。対応は主として日本語以外で行います。
  1. How to write academic reports or papers and making a presentation レポートや論文作成，プレゼンについての相談
  2. How to use the library. How to search for academic books and journal articles. 附属図書館の利用方法，学術資料の探し方などについての相談
    How to study at the university 大学での学習法全般についての相談
  3. How to study at the university その他，学修全般に対する何でも相談
  • The library offers the time table of 90 min. session every day where LeCIS staffs provide support in their language. 
  • No reservation needed for the consultation. 
  • LeCIS staff will speak at library orientation and other events, and also support the librarian.
  • 曜日ごとに90分１コマの時間割を用意し，各LeCISがコミュニケーションできる言語での支援を行います。
  • LeCISによるオリエンテーションやイベントなども実施予定です。その他，図書館職員の業務の補助も行う予定です。

■Period 期間  October 1, 2015 – February 10, 2016
