附属図書館では、昨今のオープンアクセスに関する現状を踏まえ、令和6年1月からSpringer-Nature社と、4月からElsevier社と転換契約を締結しております。

転換契約とは、電子ジャーナルの購読料と論文掲載料（Article Processing Charges；APC）がセットとなった契約で、本学教職員、大学院生等が責任著者として契約対象のジャーナルに受理された場合、各契約で定められた年間出版数の上限まで、APCが先着順で一部免除（大学負担）されます。

 

本セミナーでは本制度の概要説明後、Elsevier社の講師による論文をオープンアクセス出版する際の具体的な手順についてレクチャーを行います。

Elsevier ScienceDirect各誌へ論文投稿を予定する方のみならず、オープンアクセスにご関心のある教職員・大学院生の皆様のご参加をお待ちしております。

In light of the current situation regarding open access, Kanazawa University Library has concluded conversion agreements with Springer-Nature in January 2024 and with Elsevier in April.

“Ttransformative agreement”is a contract that includes electronic journal subscription fees and article processing charges (APCs) as a set. When a faculty member, staff member, or graduate student of the University is accepted by a contracted journal as a corresponding author, the APCs are partially waived (paid by the University) on a first-come, up to the annual publication limit set by each contract.

 

For this seminar, we will have a guest speaker from Elsevier Japan who will give a lecture on recent trends in open access and the specific steps to take when publishing an open access paper.

 

We welcome the participation of not only those who plan to submit papers to Elsevier ScienceDirect journals, but also faculty, staff, and graduate students who are interested in open access.
