金沢大学附属図書館ライティングセンターでは，英文ライティング支援を担当するライブラリー・ラーニング・アドバイザー（LiLA)を募集します。なお，新型コロナウィルス感染症の影響で，当面の間，すべての相談はオンラインで行う予定です。
Kanazawa University Library Writing Center is recruiting Library Learning Advisor(LiLA) (Writing Tutors, part-time writing advisors）.For those of you who are interested in English writing & academic writing, and are passionate about mentoring students’ learning process, please apply to this position. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, all tutoring sessions will be online.

３　応募資格 Qualification requirements：
次について対応可能な大学院学生/Graduate student （日本語または英語のネイティブ・スピーカーでなくても構いません）。
● 英語のライティングについて，学生からの相談に乗りながら，アドバイスを行うこと
    Graduate students who are interested in advising and mentoring student writers through consultations and written feedback.
● 作文や英語について指導すること
    Graduate students who are interested in teaching and tutoring writing and English language.
● 日本語または英語で学生とコミュニケーションが取れること
    Graduate students who can communicate in Japanese or English with student writers.

 

４　勤務内容 Work content:　
● ライティングセンターで，ライティングに関する学生からの個別の相談に乗ること
    Provide one-on-one tutoring to student writers at the Kanazawa University Library Writing Center.
● 学術的な英語論文の書き方，剽窃防止，引用法に関する基本的な指導をすること
    Provide basic instructions on how to write academic papers in English, avoid plagiarism, and citing sources.
● EMI科目等で課されるアカデミックな英文レポートの作成について支援を行うこと
    Support for writing an academic paper in English for EMI courses or for other purposes.
● 英語によるプレゼンテーション（スライドやノート）の準備について支援を行うこと
    Support for helping students prepare for a presentation in English (slides or notes)
● 学術的な情報源の探索の支援を行うこと
   Provide support for finding academic sources.

５　勤務時間 Work hours
● 月～金曜日（9:30〜16:00）授業等に支障がないよう相談の上決定
　 Monday – Friday. More detail after mutual consultation.
● 業務時間は，ティーチング・アシスタント，リサーチ・アシスタント等の業務時間と合わせて週28時間を上限とする。
　 The upper limit of work hours per week is 28 hours, which includes your work hour as TA, RA and so on.

 

６　勤務場所 Work place
金沢大学附属図書館中央図書館またはオンラインでの勤務
Central Library,　Kanazawa University or online.

 

７ 給与　Salary
(1) 大学院生（博士前期課程）：1時間 1,240円，大学院生（博士後期課程）：1時間 1,400円
　　Graduate student (Master’s Level): 1240 yen per hour，Graduate student (Doctoral Level): 1400 yen per hour
(2) 通勤手当は支給しません。Transport allowance is not paid.

面接を行った後，勤務時間の調整を行った上で，結果を通知します。
