金沢大学附属図書館ライティングセンターでは，ライティング支援を担当するライブラリー・ラーニング・アドバイザー（LiLA)を募集します。ご興味のある方はぜひご応募ください。

Kanazawa University Library Writing Center is looking for Library Learning Advisors (LiLA)(Writing Tutors, part-time writing advisors) to assist students’ learning and writing. Please apply for this position for those interested in English writing and academic writing and passionate about mentoring students’ learning processes.

 

１ 募集人数 Job openings:

10 名程度 About 10 graduate students

 

２ 採用期間 Employment period:

2023 年 4 月下旬～2024 年 3 月 31 日　 Late April，2023 to March 31, 2024

 

３ 応募資格 Qualification requirements：

本学に在籍する大学院生/Graduate studentで次について対応可能な方を募集します。

 

・英語での学術的文章執筆に関する学生の自学自習について，対話を通して支援することに

　興味がある方。ただし，オンライン形式（Zoom，E-mail 等）での相談も含む。

   Graduate students who are interested in advising and mentoring student writers

   through consultations and written feedback.

・学術的場面での英語使用に関する学生の自学自習を支援することに興味がある方。

　　　Graduate students who are interested in tutoring writing and using English

         in academic situations.

・日本語または英語で学生とコミュニケーションが取れる方。

（応募者の母語は問いません。留学生も応募可能です。）

　　　Graduate students who can communicate in Japanese or English with student writers.

　　　(International students are also welcome to apply.)

 

４ 勤務内容 Work content:

　　・学術的文章の執筆に関する学生からの相談に対話をしながら対応する。

　　　ただし，オンライン形式（Zoom，E-mail 等）での相談も含む。

　　　Provide one-on-one tutoring to student writers at the Kanazawa University Library

　　　Writing Center (Some tutoring sessions may be conducted online).

　　・EMI 科目等で課される英語での学術的な文章執筆（レポート等の課題）について支援する。

　　　Support for writing an academic paper in English for EMI courses

         or for other purposes.

　　・英語によるプレゼンテーション資料（スライドやノート）の作成や発表について支援する。

　　　Support for helping students prepare for a presentation in English (slides or notes)

　　・学術的文章の書き方，剽窃防止，引用法に関する学生の自学自習の支援をする。

　　　Provide basic advice on writing academic papers in English, avoiding plagiarism,

　　　and citing sources.

　　・学術的な情報源の探索について支援する。

　　　Provide support for finding academic sources.

 

５ 勤務時間 Work hours

月～金曜日（11:00〜17:00）授業等に支障がないよう相談の上決定

Monday – Friday. More detail after mutual consultation.

 

業務時間は，ティーチング・アシスタント，リサーチ・アシスタント等の業務時間と合わせて

週 28 時間を上限とする。

The upper limit of work hours per week is 28, including your work hours as TA, RA, and so on.

 

６ 勤務場所 Work place

金沢大学附属図書館中央図書館または自然科学系図書館のどちらかで勤務。

オンラインでの勤務の可能性もあります。

Central Library or Natural Science and Technology Library, Kanazawa University, or online.

 

７ 給与 Salary

(1) 大学院生（博士前期課程）：1 時間 1,280 円，大学院生（博士後期課程）：1 時間 1,440 円

　　Master’s student: 1280 yen per hour, Ph.D. student: 1440 yen per hour

(2) 通勤手当は支給しません。Transport allowance is not paid.

附属図書館中央図書館のカウンターに提出してください。(平日 9：00-16：30)

at the circulation desk of the central library. （Weekday 9：00-16：30）

 

１０ 採用方法 Recruitment method

面接を行った後，勤務時間の調整を行った上で，結果を通知します。
