■ Preparing for the additional group learning spaces and improving the learning environment, the construction work will be conducted at the Central Library. 
The construction is scheduled to start in the middle of January and will be completed by the end of March.

The construction period is as follows:
[1] Shifting the place of seating area from the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor [the middle of January → the middle of February]
[2] Repairing the air-conditioning system
  [January 18th – the end of March]
[3] Replacing the partial carpeting   [on February → on March]
[4] Setting up Global Communication Studio
  [February 12th – the end of March]
[5] Converting special reading room into the learning spaces for group   [on March]

[6] Reupholstering  chairs  [February - March]
We reupholster chairs at Reading Room and Book Lounge = Honwa-café, sofa in front of   service-desk. Total amount is about 200 chairs.
During the period, there is no chair in several place.
[7] Repairing stacks at basement floor  [18th -25th Feburary]
       We repair the stacks to place more books.
To use materials placed in the basement floor at 18th and 19th February, please ask staff at service desk.
